About Our Center

Our Story

Founded in 1964 by Katie and Jimmy Williams, Kandy Kane Learning Center has been serving families for over 60 years. In 1986, Debbie Loudermilk became the owner and has continued the tradition of providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are honored to be part of each child’s journey and grateful for the opportunity to serve generations of families in our community.

Our Mission

Kandy Kane Learning Center was built on faith, family, and a passion for serving children. When our owner, Debbie Loudermilk, entered the childcare profession, she was a working mother of two young children herself. She understood firsthand the trust parents place in those who care for their children each day. Guided by faith and a desire to make a difference, she stepped out in faith to purchase Kandy Kane Learning Center—a decision that has been a blessing to countless families throughout our community.

Our mission is simple:

To care for every child as if they were our own.

Every decision we make is guided by one important question:

“If you couldn’t be with your own child today, how would you want them to be loved, cared for, and encouraged?”

At Kandy Kane Learning Center, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and grow. We believe every child is uniquely created by God and deserves to be treated with love, patience, respect, and compassion.

Our goal is to partner with families by providing exceptional care, meaningful learning experiences, and a strong foundation that supports each child’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and academic development.

We are honored to serve families throughout Habersham County and the surrounding communities, and we remain committed to creating a place where children feel valued, parents feel confident, and every family feels at home.
