



Georgia Pre-K Eligibility & Enrollment Requirements
Kandy Kane Learning Center is proud to offer Georgia’s Pre-K Program, a free, state-funded educational program for eligible four-year-old children.
Eligibility
To enroll in Georgia’s Pre-K Program at Kandy Kane Learning Center:
- Your child must be four (4) years old on or before September 1 of the current school year.
- Your child must be a resident of Georgia.
Children who are five years old on or before September 1 and are eligible for kindergarten may still qualify for Georgia’s Pre-K if they have not previously attended a Georgia Pre-K Program for more than 30 days. Parents will be required to sign a Parent Acknowledgement Form verifying this information.
Children who are six years old on or before September 1 and are eligible for first grade are not eligible to enroll in Georgia’s Pre-K Program.
Required Enrollment Documents
Before your child can begin the Georgia Pre-K Program, the following documentation must be provided:
Proof of Age
One of the following documents is accepted:
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
- Hospital Record of Live Birth
- Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
- Federal I-94 Card
- Other state-approved documentation
Proof of Georgia Residency
One of the following is required:
- Current utility bill
- Lease or mortgage statement
- Government-issued mail
- Letter from an employer or shelter
- Other state-approved proof of residency
Health Requirements
Hearing, Vision & Dental Screening (Form 3300)
All children enrolled in Georgia’s Pre-K Program must have a completed Georgia Form 3300 on file within 90 calendar days of enrollment. This form must be completed and signed by a licensed healthcare provider or your local health department.
Immunization Record (Form 3231)
A current Georgia Immunization Certificate (Form 3231) or an approved exemption affidavit must be submitted within 30 calendar days of enrollment. Immunization forms are available through your child’s physician or your local Georgia Health Department.
